Saina Nehwal Ranks No 1 in Badminton World Federation Rankings


Saina Nehwal become first Indian Women to Rank No 1 in the Badminton Game, Saina Nehwal Ranks No 1 when official Ranking by Badminton World Federation came out. Saina Nehwal also win Medal for India in Olympics and she is also the first women to achieve this position in Badminton.

Saina Nehwal won Bronze Medal earlier in London Olympics 2012 for India, and here she ranked No 1 today even before she took the court for the semifinals after her closest competitor Carolina Marin of Spain lost in the other last four match against Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon.

Saina Nehwal born in Haryana, India a place which has lowest number of sex ration in India, and where girls don’t have so much opportunity to do something for country or for themselves, but Saina Nehwal proves herself which is really appreciable and very proud moment for all Indian and all girls who want to achieve something in their life.

“It is a dream come true. I can’t even believe that I have become the world number one. I guess till the time I see my name there myself I won’t be able to believe it. It has been a long journey,”
